GASLAMP'S NEWEST dining and entertainment venue
San Diego 's only true “dance club” in the Gaslamp, belo, launches February 9, 2006.
belo will be San Diego 's only true “superclub,” in the mold of Crobar ( Chicago , New York , Miami ) and Ministry of Sound ( London ). With over 20,000 square feet of hot, ultra-chic décor; three different rooms; and top-flight, internationally-known DJ talent, belo will be the destination for San Diego 's club-goers. The club is named for its location nestled under the Gaslamp.
The ultimate club experience will greet belo's guests, with a variety of rooms, each with their own atmosphere and ambience. The 60's-inspiried décor, which has been described as both retro and post-modern cool, creates great vibes in each room: the electric green room for dancing the night away, and the red room for more subdued, intimate moments. As in the top clubs in the world, Belo's psychedelic VIP areas offer several views of the happenings, and boast a welcoming, impeccable service.
belo's international “super club” electricity is generated by a state of the art sound and light system, along with plasma TVs and murals that bring the New York/London club experience to San Diego . The music completes the club experience, with a diverse range of house, hip hop, R & B, mash-ups, 80's and live music.
The real power behind the belo experience is the musical presence of top superstar DJ's, such as Steve Aoki, AM, Stretch Armstrong, Mark Ronson, Samantha Ronson, Benji from Good Charlotte, and other internationally-known talent.
Driving belo's continual stream of top DJ talent is belo's Entertainment Director, club consultant and resident DJ Paul Parente, a.k.a Pauli P.
